Earth Chick has always been with us.
We have been married almost 40 years and have lived our life in consideration of the earth and her needs. The only new items we have ever purchased are mattresses, televisions, computers and, of course, underwear! Among a few other items. Our home has always been a midge pudge of Trash Treasure and thrifted furniture, making it very home and very much ours.
We have lived in INdiana, California and are currently in Florida. We have raised 3 wonderful human beings into beautiful caring adult humans.Both of us have held Big Boy and Big girl jobs, being in the corporate world and self owned business arenas for the majority of our lives.
Earth Chick has always been in our lives. Upcycling iems into useable, beautiful collectibles, crafting handmade pursed, getting up at 4 am to attend markets and driving hundreds of miles to show our waes.
Six years ago we opened the first Rage Room in SWFL, Just One of Those Dayz. This venture is very close to our heart. My husbands idea to give those with PTSD a place to release has developed into so much more!
The Freak Boutique is one of the wonderful things that has developed from the Rage Room.
In shopping for items to smash, we began noticing so many items being destroyed because one household didn’t want them. These items were beautiful, quirky, fun and useable. Going back to our Trash Treasures roots, we began saving these wonderful items. We then dug through our craft bins, and began embellishing and creating unique one of a kind home decorations.
